I thought a 33-piece capsule wardrobe was already pretty extreme. Then I went a step further.
I got rid of all the jewelleries (not that I had many, but) and other pieces that had no practical value.
Currently, my wardrobe consists of 19 pieces of items including shoes, accessories and outerwear (but excluding what I consider to be underwear such as leggings and socks.)

As you can see, I dress in monochrome. The only exception being the pair of wellies that’s in olive green and the pair of bright-red glasses.
I also only buy travel-friendly pieces, something that is made of thin, quick-to-dry and easy-to-wash-in-a-hotel-sink material.
My wardrobe has evolved slowly over the years, and I’m quite happy with the current version. It makes packing for a trip much, much easier. I basically pack my whole closet and boom!
I’m not suggesting anyone follow my steps nor saying that I have the best strategy in building a capsule wardrobe. I just found what works for me.
Does anyone has a smaller wardrobe than mine?
